What People Are Asking

📍 Q1: My son was diagnosed in middle school, how do I tell his teachers or get him the help he needs.
A: Talk to the school/grade counselor and they can get you an official form that they can then send to the teachers. HOWEVER, this is not enough. I strongly encourage you to go to each teacher personally, explain the situation and find a solution. Whether he needs to sit in the front row, for them to use different colored markers, or if he needs larger print homework/handouts. Please take the time to do this as it’ll help him so much and stress way less every day.

Tips Of The Week

Dark Mode Chrome Extension

**All of the tips this week are involving laptops/desktop computers. This is what I work on daily and these make every day easier.

Go to Google Chrome → INSTALL HERE → Click Add to Chrome in the upper right → after installing, click the puzzle piece looking icon in the upper right of your chrome screen → Click the thumbtack ‘Pin’ button next to ‘Dark Mode’ → Toggle on and off the light switch icon.. You want the dark half to be on top. Now refresh the page.

This is not perfect on every website, but from my experience, it works very well on 90% of websites.

System Magnifier

There are options for both Mac & PC

Go to settings on your Mac or PC. search for ‘Magnifier’. Toggle it on. Change the ‘View’ to Full Screen

Now using the shortcut ‘Windows Key + the ‘+’ key on the keyboard, the screen will now zoom in in big increments if you keep hitting the ‘+’ key. If you want to zoom out, use the shortcut ‘Windows Key + the “-” key.

This takes some getting used to and might make you motion sick at first as the screen ‘follows’ your mouse, but you’ll get used to it.

I run a social media marketing agency and thought I’d be unable to work about 6 months ago, but I found these two solutions and they’ve definitely extended my working timeline by a few years I hope! Please give it a try and let me know if you have any questions!

The Personal Touch

Being fully transparent this week.

There are days I feel bad for my wife, who has to drive, read me everything, move things out of the way for me, etc.

I feel like she could do so much better and that I’m not giving her everything that a spouse should.

How do I get over this?

I know she loves me to death and would do anything to help me, but at the same time, I feel bad that she has to.

I can’t take her on surprise dates, do certain things that other ‘Men’ can.

How do I get over this feeling? We all need your help as I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way. Respond to this email with your thoughts and I’ll include them in an issue of the newsletter down the road.

Thanks everyone!

We got this!
